I’m looking for monologues and scenes from movies and tv shows but I’m having problems finding them. Can anyone think of good things I could use? I’ve already looked at Malcolm in the Middle but besides that, I’m kinda stuck. Ideas? Thanks!
evan almighty was great
They can be great tv shows or shows that weren’t that good. Just, what are some shows that were canceled after one season?
Surface
Three Moons Over Milford
Eastwick
Harper’s Island (It was really only supposed to be a one season show)
I mean, the lighting in movies makes everything look more real. But the lighting in commercials and TV shows makes things look really cheesy and fake. What’s the difference in the way the lighting is set up for movies and for TV shows?
Movies have a higher budget. A higher budget means better special effects, and that makes for a more realistic look.
I’m not planning on trying this or anything, but I’m just curious as to how people upload tv shows to the internet with good quality.
Surprisingly I came across a video tutorial on this on youtube.
I suppose seeing how the process is done would be more beneficial. So here you go TUTORIAL – How to upload SHARPER VIDEOS on YOUTUBE .

I know that the TV shows probably aren’t much like real life, so I was wondering.
Also: Police officers, do you like police TV shows?
I like some police shows. The Law and Order series is good (SVU, Original, CI, in that order). I grew up watching re runs of Dragnet on Nick at Night and I still which it. Third Watch is my all time favorite show.
I tend to stay away from the reality stuff (Cops and the like) because I get enough of it at work.
As for the realism. It is hit and miss. Third Watch was fairly accurate in some respects and way off on others. Same with Law and Order and others. It’s hard to explain, no show is going to give you the complete picture. Why? Because showing up to a noise complaint where you tell someone to turn down the music doesn’t make for good TV. Neither does a good fight for that matter. The action lasts 20 seconds, followed by an hour of processing arrests and filling out paper work.

I love the L Word so much and I’m looking for some similar TV shows that have storyline about lesbians. But I don’t want a talk show like Ellen or a teenage show like South of Nowhere. I would like show about adults I would also like to say I’m looking for a show that is aleardy completely ended so I buy it on DVD. THANKS!
umm… my gf is currently crazily watchin a Brit show called ‘Bad Girls’. You can try it if you can manage the slang…
We just switched from Cox Cable to Direct TV – no choice, we moved. I am noticing that shows that should air at one time, actually air at total different times with Direct. For example, my daughter watches A Secret Life on ABC. It has always aired at 8 pm and that’s what it shows in it’s commercials and on it’s website, etc. But with Direct TV it airs at 6pm. Why????? It makes no sense that they just air whenever they feel like it.
You can watch TV shows for free at http://bit.ly/aO7mi4 .. You don’t need to wait Direct tv or other things..

I read a lot of books and was looking for movies or tv shows similar preferably with either vampires or shapeshifters. The books I read are usually similar to Twilight series. The main authors I enjoy are Christina Dodd, Christine Feehan, Pamela Palmer, Lara Adrian, Sherrilyn Kenyon, ect. These books all are romances but with a lot of action. I’ve seen True Blood and Underworld but am having trouble finding more. Please let me know if you know of any movies or shows in this category.
The league of extraordinary gentleman
Dorian Gray (can’t wait to see it)
Blood and chocolate
Blade
Ultraviolet
BloodRayne
Brotherhood of the wolf
The covenant
The craft
For the tv shows Blood ties but it was cancelled after 2 seasons, dangit. And of course Supernatural, Charmed, Buffy and Angel.
I just love Sherrilyn Kenyon, I’ve always wondered what would it be like if they were made into a tv show but it would be quite hard finding guys all over 6ft, I laugh imagining Acheron with Simi, or p*ssed off Zarek.
Regarding books I’ve fallen in love with Kresley Cole and am waiting for the first book from Christine Feehan from ebay as we speak. Are her books as good as those of Kenyon’s (even if her latest ones have lost their touch for me)?
Well, with all the shows that are on tv, I know some of them might be too brutal for our kids to watch. What shows wouldn’t you allow your 5 yr old, 8 yr old, and 13 yr old to watch? Why or why not?
I would let them watch just about any one on regular TV, though I try to limit their TV viewing. I think it’s better to watch it with them and teach them what is right and wrong on the show. In other words make it a learning experience. That is what my parents always did.
